Terms of use

These terms apply to falajo.com and to ChequeMinder, a service of Falajo, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: [email protected].

1. The service

ChequeMinder helps property management agencies keep a register of rent cheques: statuses, weekly deposit lists, replacements, landlord statements, renewal alerts, a change history and CSV export. Your team records deposits, clearings and bounces itself.

ChequeMinder does not hold or move money, does not connect to bank accounts, Ejari or any payment system, and does not send messages on your behalf. WhatsApp messages are prepared for you; you choose to send them from your own WhatsApp.

2. Demo and import test

The demo uses fictional data. The import test reads your file in your browser and does not send it to us. Both are provided as they are, to show how the service works.

3. Pilot

The pilot is free for 30 days and needs no card. We set up your account from your cheque file and run a monthly cycle with you. There is no obligation to continue, and pilot data is deleted on request or within 30 days after the pilot ends if you do not continue.

4. Prices and payment

After the pilot, if you continue: AED 990 for the first 12 months, paid once, then AED 149 per month, billed monthly. One flat price per agency for up to 300 units, with unlimited cheques and users. Prices are in UAE dirhams. We remind you 30 days before your first year ends. You can cancel the monthly plan at any time, effective at the end of the current month; the first-year payment is not refunded after the first 14 days.

5. Your data

Your agency owns the data it loads. You confirm that you are allowed to share the tenant and landlord details you load, and that they are accurate. You can export everything at any time. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

6. Not legal or financial advice

Renewal alerts and notes about notice periods are internal reminders, not legal advice. Always check lease terms and current rules, such as the 90-day notice generally required in Dubai to change lease terms. Statuses and statements reflect what your team records; check them against your bank statements.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep ChequeMinder available and your data safe, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, Falajo is not liable for indirect losses, and its total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the service

You can stop at any time. We may suspend an account used unlawfully or for purposes other than managing rent cheques. Before closing an account for any other reason, we give 30 days' notice so you can export your data.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We update the date at the top, and we email paying agencies at least 30 days before a change that affects them.
